Nigerian Telecommunications giants, Globacom Nigeria Limited have unveiled Nigerian boxer and World Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua as their brand ambassador.
It is expected that the Boxer would bring to the company some more following and sponsorship locally and across the world.
According to Bisi Koleoso, the deputy chief operating officer of Globacom Nigeria, the company retained its position as the second largest operator in Nigeria with 45.3 million subscribers and the company will be willing to top that list.

The deputy chief operating officer had this to say:
“In the year 2019, that is the year, we are counting on your support to take our business to new levels of success in telecommunications as you continually invest in our mission to drive digital revolution in our country, Nigeria”
He maintained that the company was willing to share a different communication direction with the media and its subscribers, one which inevitably drive the future. He insisted that the talked about future was one the company will share with its subscribers to dream big, rule their world and glow in pride.
The company promised a superior network and high quality voice and data with the add-on of providing real value for money.
The world champion born to Nigerian parents was unveiled at a media stake forum in Eko Atlantic Lagos.
In a video commercial, Anthony Joshua shared the things he had in common with the company. He said:
“Speed, power tenacity and the fighting spirit that Nigerians are known for, Naija, we too much, Glo I hail ooh”
Anthony Joshua holds the IBF title, one he lifted in 2016. He is also the holder of the WBO title since 2017 and the WBO title since 2018.
Globacom Nigeria Limited also have lots of Nigerian stars and celebrities in their ranks some of which are Basketmouth, Olamide, Timaya, Victor Moses among others.
