All Is Set for Inauguration of Operation Amotekun [Photos]
The inauguration of Southwest security outfit, Operation Amotekun has kick off in top gear in Ibadan Oyo State.
The outfit is expected to tackle security challenges affecting the region.
Speaking ahead of the inauguration to iDONSABI in Akure, Ondo State capital, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Security, Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo, expressed confidence that the outfit will work adding that it will achieve its aim in tackling insecurity in the Western region of Nigeria.

“It will work. But how it will work is not what we can reveal to you now.”
He said residents in the region shouldn’t entertain any fear, as the initiative will be a success.
“It’s going to be a success, nobody should entertain any fear about its operation.”
