Barcelona Offer Coutinho To Tottenham For €30million Loan Deal

Barcelona look determined to offload Coutinho and see Premier League as their best bet and Tottenham looking to be their only option.

The Catalan giants are asking for a fee in the region of €20-€30 million to allow the Brazilian leave on a season-long loan deal to White Hart Lane.

The proposed loan move would also need the Lily whites to pay the full amount of the former Liverpool man’s wages over the loan period which is put above £200,000-a-week.

The Spanish Champions face a race against time to complete a deal over the out-of-favour midfielder with the transfer window closing at 5pm BST on Thursday.

Liverpool already ruled out a move for their former player while the trio of Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal already look well stocked in that department.

A switch to Old Trafford never seemed probable for Coutinho considering his association with Manchester United greatest rivals, Liverpool which leaves the options trimmed down to Tottenham if a move to the Premier League is to happen.

Barcelona look very keen to bring back PSG forward, Neymar to the Nou Camp and there is the idea that this can only be achieved if Countinho and his high wages are moved elsewhere to facilitate the move for his Brazilian teammate, Neymar.

The Spanish giants had been open to involving Coutinho in a player plus cash deal for Neymar but Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint Germain are more interested in cash as they have no need for a player in that area of the team.

The Blaugranas have consistently hammered the fact that they need to move Coutinho elsewhere on a permanent deal to free up funds for Neymar.

However, with no forthcoming interest, they are open to making do with a loan deal instead.

Spurs look interested in bringing the forward as Mauricio Pochettino is thought to see him as the high-profile name the club need to move forward.
