Nosa Afolabi popularly known as Lasisi Elenu is a Nigerian comedian, event compere, actor and social media influencer. Lasisi Elenu has carved out a niche for himself in the entertainment industry using a Snapchat app filter that makes a caricature of his face and gives him a funny look. Early life and background of Lasisi Elenu
Lasisi Elenu was born on the 20th of April, 1989 in Lagos, Nigeria. After completing his primary and secondary education, he proceeded to bag a degree in Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Ilorin.
His Rise to Fame
Lasisi Elenu kick-started his career as a songwriter and singer before dabbling into comedy. He released a single hit under the moniker, Nature. Then, he used to share his songs on Instagram and Snapchat. Comedy wasn’t an ingrained talent for the instagram influencer. According to him, he started working on himself after people complimented his comedy skills on different occasions. He shared his first Instagram skit on August 11, 2017 and soon rose to prominence for addressing issues besieging the country in his skits.
