Burna Boy Reacts To Sudan Massacre, Pledges To Help

Burna Boy reacts to the ongoing violence and massacre against civilians in Sudan.

Civilian demonstrators in Sudan are currently facing violence that has left many including children dead and injured.

The war started after the country protested against the rule of their former president President Hassan al-Bashir, who later resigned on 11 April 2019.

After his resignation, the army took over and civilian demonstrators want power back in the hands of the civilians, thus started protesting.

Their protest was met with violence by the army rule, leading to the death and massacre of many.

Many people have reacted to the current situation of Sudan including Nigerian singer, Burna Boy who urged people not to stay silent. He also enquired for organizations that are providing medical aid to Sudan as he plans to help.

“I STAND WITH SUDAN! … we can’t be silent when our brothers and sisters are being oppressed. Any organisations involved in providing medical aid in Sudan pls hit me up.” He wrote.
