Fancy Acholonu Reveals Boo Alex Ekubo Snubbed Oscars To Vote
Super model, Fancy Acholonu has revealed that her boyfriend, Alex Ekubo missed the Oscars because he wanted to travel to Nigeria to vote.
The 2019 Presidential elections held on the 23rd of February with Nigerians trooping out in their numbers to vote for their most preferred presidential candidates.
That said, the large disparity between the number of registered voters and the accredited showed that only a few percentage of people actually went to polling booths to vote with some of these people blaming this on the distance of their houses to these polling booths.
This was not an issue for Alex Ekubo who chose his love for his country over distance or a ticket earned by invitation to an exclusive World event, the Oscars 2019.
Fancy Acholonu revealed via her post that she had to go solo to the Oscars because Alex Ekubo would rather return to Nigeria where his vote was needed than go to the Oscars.
Though, she suggested that she wasn’t happy about the decision, her boo must have earned some respect as Fancy Acholonu moved to regard him as being patriotic.
She emphatically stated that Alex was truly patriotic and would put his country first ahead of all other things.
In her words: “Was sadly solo at the Oscars cus my handsome date had to fly to Nigeria to vote! Super proud of him for making #Nigeriadecides2019 a priority! A noble, humble & patriotic man #blessed”
Alex in response said: “I’m sorry I had to go, Country first! & thanks for being the most understanding person in the whole wide world and guess what? The next one we attend, I’ll be nominated & winning, so even better.”
At the time of filing this report, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari has taken an early lead over Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and may well be the next President over the course of the next four years.
