– Femi Fani Kayode has denied the report that he has dumped the PDP for the APC
– The former min. disclosed that he only applauded the Pres. Muhammudu Buhari government for the release of Zainub Aliyu from Saudi Arabia prison
Nigerian former Min. for Aviation and popular legal practitioner, Femi Fani Kayode in a new statement has reacted to the report that he has dumped the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for the ruling party, the All Progressive Party over the release of Zainub Aliyu.
Femi Fani Kayode following the release of Zainub Aliyu from Saudi Arabia prison last week had stated that he was proud of Pres. Buhari for the achievement, he however, made it known that he only commended the President and it is not a reason for him to dump the PDP for the APC.
The former Minister in a statement said, “reports that I said I am “proud of Buhari” and that I have “dumped PDP” and “joined APC” are false. Those that are peddling such vile mendacities and perfidious falsehood are insane. I commended Buhari for getting the young lady in Saudi Arabia out of prison but it stops there.”
After the release of Zainub Aliyu from prison in Saudi Arabia prison, Nigerians have gone ahead to applaud the Federal Government for swift action in ensuring her release.
Zainub Aliyu was arrested in Saudi Arabia after hard drugs were found in the bag with her name tag.
After investigation, it was discovered that Zainub Aliyu was innocent and that the hard drugs were in fact planted with her name tag from a Nigerian airport, with reports suggesting that this criminal act could have been going on for years.
