Foreign Minister Geoffrey Onyeama Contracts Coronavirus
After his fourth round of test, The Minister of Foreign Affairs has been tested positive of coronavirus.
According to the minister, who revealed this via his Twitter page, the result came back positive after the 4th test due to throat infection.

He has now headed to an isolation center to get treatment.
“Did my fourth Covid-19 test yesterday at the first sign of throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive. That is life! Win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best,” he tweeted.

Onyeama is the first Minister in President Muhammadu Buhari to contract the deadly virus.

According to the data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Out of 209,446 tests conducted so far, 36,107 have returned positive with 20,391 still active while the number of discharged rose to 14,938. The death rate hits 778.
