With the JAMB CAPS, higher institutions will only be able to admit candidates that meet their cut off marks. So this means that no candidates no matter the affinity or connection, will be able to gain admission without meeting the cut off for that institution.
Also, institutions can visit the CAPS system as a market to extract candidates. For instance, a university could visit the system to demand candidates that meet their cut off and offer them admission without any special preference given to any candidate.
