Arewa Pastors Assure Christians That Buhari Won’t Islamise Nigeria
National Chairman, Arewa Pastors Non-denominational Initiative for Peace, Bishop Abu Richard, has assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari will not Islamise the country as insinuated in some quarters.
Bishop Richard, who said President Buhari is not the cause of the killings in the country called on Nigerians both Christians and Muslims to continue to pray for a better government in the next four years of Buhari’s administration.
Ogun state Governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun and some Chieftains of the All Progressive Congress APC in the state were absent during President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit in yesterday to commission some projects carried out by the Outgoing Governor, Ibikunle Amosu.
According to reports, the Governor-elect and APC Chieftains were because they were not invited.
The Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike has alleged that some Governors under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worked with the All Progressive Congress (APC) to overtake the state.
Fani Kayode responds to Adeshina’s statement on Christian leaders supporting Obasanjo
Former Minister for Aviation and top legal practitioner, Femi Fani-Kayode has responded to Femi Adeshina, Presidential Aide on Christian leaders who are supporting former President Olusegun Obasanjo over President Muhammadu Buhari.
Fani-Kayode stated that Femi Adeshina description of Christian leaders supporting Obasanjo is false, saying those supporting Buhari and opposed Obasanjo are pagans, goblin, vampires, werewolves, sorcerers and orcs.
Daniella Okeke has responded to an allegation raised against her by Stephanie Otobo, who accused her a year of sleeping with a popular pastor, Apostle Suleman, claiming the pastor paid N400k to have a threesome with people including Daniella.
Although,Otobo later confessed she was paid by politicians to blackmail Apostle Suleman, but Okeke commanded Stephanie to take it all back in 24 hrs.
Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung has expressed his displeasure over the allegations levelled against Nigeria by the International Association Athletics Foundation (IAAF) describing the accusation as a form of blackmail after the body had given Nigeria an ultimatum to refund the money it was paid in error.
Ibrahim Gusau, in a letter sent to the president of the AFN, and signed by the IAAF Senior Manager, Governance, Jee Isram, said that the AFN was contacted immediately the anomaly was noticed on March 18, 2017, to refund the sum of $130,000 that was wrongly credited.
