Londiwe Ngcampu South African Actress Battered By Suspecting Boyfriend

A South African actress with the name Londiwe Ngcampu is recovering at Edenlade hospital after being reportedly battered by her boyfriend who claims she was in a romantic relationship with a man she kissed on set while a romantic movie she was to feature in was being filmed.

Cases of domestic violence are becoming increasingly common in most African countries with this one coming from the Southern part of the continent.

Ngcampu, 30, who was casting for a theatre production titled Seven Days War said she was done with her show around 10pm and was relaxing with her friends when she received a call from her boyfriend.

The actress who doubles as a singer said she hurriedly left the show location with the intention of meeting her boyfriend halfway as she left for home.

It was reported that the man meeting the actress halfway dragged her home and in the confines of his apartment beat her to a pulp. Reports suggest that the possible reason for this was that the man believes his girlfriend was in a romantic relationship with one of the cast of the movie and was not having any of it.

The man taking breaks inbetween the beating at some point allegedly tried using a knife on her – an action she quickly reacted to by holding the knife.

This was reported to have angered the man the more with the young man picking up an axe and threatening to butcher and bury her. The actress cum swinger however managed to get out of harm’s way swinging the axe under the bed.

Her boyfriend exhausted took a break with Ngcampu making her way to see her siblings who filed a case of assault with the Police against Ngcampu’s boyfriend.

The actress is said to be in the hospital now with her face swollen and her eyes completely shut.
