Manchester United Fans Express Disgust For Paul Pogba Comments About Real Madrid

Paul Pogba has stated that playing for Real Madrid under the tutelage of returning manager Zinedine Zidane would be a dream for football player. The French midfielder also went ahead to praise Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claiming that he had a great relationship with the Norwegian gaffer.

In his words: “Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone, It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“There is also Zinedine Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football.

“For now, I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy.”

These comments by the 26-yr-old has garnered lots of reactions from footballing fans especially those of Manchester United who criticized Pogba for not pledging loyalty to the club and fuelling transfer speculations once again.

Under the reins of Jose Mourinho, the World Cup winner was rumoured to be headed for Barcelona or former club, Juventus in the summer, speculations he was not ready to dispel.

Despite his upturn and change of fortunes under caretaker manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United fans are frustrated with his comments and understandably so, with several quarters warning him against expressing similar sentiments in the future whilst still tied to a contract at the club.

Paul Pogba made these comments at a press conference ahead of France’s International matches against Iceland and Moldova where he was responding to a question about Real Madrid.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stirred United to a total of 14 wins out of 19, including an incredible second-leg Champions League comeback against French Champions, Paris Saint Germain.

The French midfielder has since become the fulcrum of the team under the Norwegian gaffer and is on the way to dispelling talks by former manager, Jose Mourinho who described him as a virus in the team.
