Nigerians React After Burna Boy Says He’s ”The Best Since Fela Kuti”
Many Nigerians are upset after Burna Boy declared himself as the best since Fela.
The Grammy nominated artiste made a post saying he’s always known he’s the best since Fela but he doesn’t care about being the best anymore because Timaya once said something about how the world can go on without the best.
He wrote;
“FACT! I always knew I was and I am THE BEST. Everyone you think is the best KNOWS I’m BEST since Fela Kuti. But @timayatimaya told me something a long time ago that made me not care about being the best. “The World can do without the Best” the world will still spin regardless.”
A Twitter user then commented that the best paved way for Burna Boy.
Burna replied;
“Lol. NOBODY paved shit for me. Everybody dey find them own. I bin Out here, if you knew the way they made us look weak by begging and paying the western world to like us you will see that no table was set and I’m the one that brought you the Respect you currently enjoy.“

This has caused a lot of conversation on Twitter as many blast Burna for calling himself the best. Some accused him of being arrogant and some jubilated he didn’t win the Grammy award he was nominated for.
