Nigerians React After Lawyer Discloses Over 4000 Couples Have Applied For Divorce in Abuja This 2020
A Nigerian Lawyer identified as Sandra has disclosed via a Tweet that over 4000 people have applied for divorce in Abuja in 2020.
She added that most of the marriages are less than a year old and questioned what’s happening with marriages nowadays.
She tweeted;
“4000 divorce applications in Abuja already and the year just started.
Some of these marriages are less than a year old.
What’s really happening?“
Many have reacted to this tweet as they give their opinions on what they think is the cause of the high divorce rate.
While some blamed “Wokeness”, some claim people rush into a relationship, some blamed westernization and others believe it’s a good thing couples now know they have the option of divorce when their marriages isn’t working.
