PFA Team Of The Year – Check Out Who Made The Listing

The PFA Team of the Year has been announced and a number of high profile names made the list including the likes of Sterling, Pogba and Robertson while a number of stars couldn’t steal their way into the most coveted team by any Premier League manager.

Manchester City and Liverpool players dominated the team quite expectedly with Manchester United boasting only one player in the Starting XI.

Manchester City led the line with six of their players making the Starting XI with Liverpool filling up four of the remaining slots.

Ederson (Manchester City)

The Citizens goalie has kept a total of 18 clean sheet this term and also made a number of spectacular saves.

Andrew Robertson

The former HullCity fullback has made a total of nine assists this campaign, the most by any Liverpool player.

Aymeric Laporte

The ball-playing centreback has made the most successful number of passes by any defender in the Premier League this season.

Virgil Van Dijk

The Dutch captain has kept more clean sheets than any other player in the league since his debut for Liverpool.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

The right-back has averaged a Premier League assist every 275 minutes this term, the best for any defender in the competition.

Fernandinho

The defensive midfielder has been instrumental to Manchester City winning runs.

Bernardo Silva

The Portuguese is a strong contender for the PFA Player of the Year award and according to Guardiola has easily been the best Manchester City player this season.

Paul Pogba

The Frenchman is clearly rejuvenated under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has been directly involved in 22 league goals this season.

Sadio Mane

The Senegalese attacker has been voracious in front of goal with 18 goals scored and directly involving in 19 Liverpool goals this campaign.

Raheem Sterling

The winger has been involved in more Premier League goals than any other English player (27) and has found a soft spot in the hearts of EPL lovers.

Sergio Aguero

The striker and never aging poacher netted two hattricks on the bounce and has become just the third ever player to score more than 150 goals for an English side after Thierry Henry at Arsenal and Wayne Rooney at Manchester United.
