Shehu Sanni Defines Thugs Amidst #EndSARS Protest

Former lawmaker, Shehu Sanni has said thugs are the children of poor people whose lives were destroyed by the system.

Thugs have been used by some politicians to disrupt elections, making the outcome to favour them.

Sanni, who was a member of the 8th Senate stated this following the ongoing nationwide #EndSARS protest. Some thugs have been disturbing peaceful protesters in Abuja, Lagos, and Benin, Edo state capital recently.

“Thugs are children of poor people, whose lives have been destroyed by the system; readily available for hire by their leaders to defend and protect the system. Some are online and Some are on the ground. #EndSARS,” he tweeted.
