Simi and Dr. Sid’s Marriage Crashes After 5 Years and 2 Kids

Nigerian singer, Sidney Esiri popularly known as Dr. Sid and Simi are no longer together after 5 years of marriage.

It was first noticed that something may be wrong with their marriage when they unfollowed each other on Instagram about 2 years ago.

Also, recently, Simi shared a Christmas photoshoot with their two daughters and many wondered why Dr. Sid was missing in it.

Many narratives started flying around as some people tried to figure out what happened to their relationship. However, the narratives didn’t sit down well with Simi as she was accused by some blogs that she was a violent wife to Dr. Sid. Some also accused her of not letting her ex husband see their kids.

However, in a new post on Instagram, Simi addressed the rumours, debunked the “being a violent wife” narrative and confirmed publicly for the first time that she and Dr. Sid’s marriage is indeed over.

“We are moving forward separately with the tough decision to divorce,” she said.
