Tottenham must have Llorente and Son Heung-Min to thank as they rallied round to stage a come-back from a goal behind to hand the Lilywhites a win on a night big clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool and even Serie A’s Juventus slipped.

The Lilywhites broke the record of the lowest attendance at the Wembley – Hallowed turf – for a Premier league match with only 29,164 people in attendance. However, there’s a twist to this perfectly written storyline. The Spurs ran out eventual winners after enduring a poor start to the game.

Tottenham’s play in the final third seemed pretty much stodgy and predictable for the first forty-five minutes with the front line showing no real threats.
