Robbers broke into the Brazilian’s home in the upmarket 16th arrondissement of Paris while he was playing in PSG’s Ligue 1 match against Nantes at the nearby Parc des Princes.

Employees of Goodyear Tyre Company showed up for work, but were rather offered a severance package that other countries would be taken to court over.
The US-based company said it would be giving its employees 10 tyres as part of their severance package — a commodity that has become very valuable on the Venezuelan black market.

6. Safari Ranger Trampled to Death by ‘Sexually-Charged’ Elephant

One of South Africa’s top safari rangers was crushed to death by a “sexually charged” elephant after it broke through a fence and into a tourist area.

The sexually charged elephant broke into a game park in South Africa and trampled a top safari ranger in a fatal rampage, according to reports. His name was Mark Lautenbach.

7 Band Swept Off Stage in Indonesia Tsunami

At least 222 people have been killed and 843 injured after a tsunami hit the coast of Indonesia’s Sunda Strait.

Local rock band Seventeen was performing at the event when the tsunami crashed over the stage from behind the band, washing away the group and audience.

10. Congolese Asylum Seeker Faces Forceful Deportation from Uk On Christmas Day

A Congolese asylum seeker who has been tortured by his government is facing forced removal from the UK to his home country on Christmas Day.

Otis Bolamu, 38, was imprisoned and tortured by government agents in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as a result of his opposition to the government of Joseph Kabila.

However, Supporters have launched a petition to prevent his removal and are calling for him to be released in time to celebrate Christmas with his friends and members of his church. They said: “Let’s get Otis home for Christmas. He is a fine, upstanding member of the community.”
