Aubameyang Wins Arsenal Premier League Player Of The Month Award

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was a standout performer for Arsenal in the month of August and consequently got rewarded for his excellent performances.

The Gabonese has been voted Arsenal’s best player of the first month of the 2019/20 campaign.

Aubameyang delivered for Arsenal, helping the Gunners pick up six points from three games, losing only to a raging Liverpool.

The 30 year old forward scored the only goal in their league clash with Newcastle United to help the North London kick start their campaign on the right foot.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker was once more at his best for Arsenal, scoring the winner against Burnley when scores were tied at the Emirates Stadium.

He was also on hand to provide Lucas Torriera a consolation goal against Liverpool on a platter of gold.

Aubameyang has now been voted player of the month for his stand-out performances in the past month.

Aubameyang came out tops with 34 percent votes, with Joe Willock and Matteo Guendouzi finishing in second and third places respectively.

The 30 year old striker was last season’s joint top goal scorer with the Liverpool duo of Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane.

This season he’s found the net three times in four league games. He will be expecting to add his tally when the Gunners lock horns with the Hornets on Sunday, September 15.
