Breaking – Hoodlums In Anambra State Set Police Station On Fire, Release Prisoners

Some hoodlums, according to reports, have allegedly set a police station on fire in Ajali, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State today, February 14th.

iDONSABI also gathers from reliable sources that the hoodlums also set free some prisoners after beating up some police officers at the police station amidst the fire incident in Ajali, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra state.

There have been some photos which have emerged from the scene.

The photos from the police station in Ajali, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra state clearly shows that the police building was almost, totally burnt while at least two police patrol vans were equally burnt in the fire.

However, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer identified as Haruna Mohammed has publicly come out to state that:

 “It’s a case of fire incident for now until the contrary is proved through discreet investigation.”

The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, has also added that the Commissioner of Police in the state identified Mustapha Dandaura is presently at the scene (police building) for on the spot assessment and to investigate further the true cause of the fire and to inspect if the prisoners truly escaped after beating up the policemen on duty.

Burnt Police Cars

The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer has since then ordered the DC Department of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department to conduct a thorough investigation in order to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.

There have not been any cases of death or any form of injuries so far as at the time of filing this report. However, investigations are currently ongoing at the scene for further confirmation.
