Davido Trolled For Failed PDP-Sponsored Concert In Ilorin
Popular Nigerian Pop singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido is no newbie when it comes to organizing concerts and big hall events.
It is no longer news that the IF crooner sold out the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in the UK which makes recent emerging reports all the more surprising.
It has become a well-known fact that Davido is a staunch supporter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Although, iDONSABI.com profiled him hammering on the fact that he wasn’t a party man, his recent performances at PDP rallies in both Rivers and Enugu States confirms that the pop star is going all out for Atiku.
Emerging reports shows that the singer in collaboration with Saraki organized a concert in Ilorin in a bid to employ his influence and impress the PDP message on the Youths of the State. The concert held in Kwara State was dubbed #DefendYourVote.
What is however surprising is that only a few number of people made it a point to attend the concert organized by the Nigerian superstar.
This development has made the singer and Senator Bukola Saraki subjects of ridicule with APC supporters maintaining the front row of mockers.
APC supporters have labelled the concert a ‘failed concert’ and it is for this reason that Davido and the Senate President are trending on Twitter with throngs of people making the move to troll the pair and PDP in general.
Below are some of the reactions from fans of the singer and the party following the recent development:
Such shame for someone that sold out O2 ARENA n cant shut down kwara even for a free show…@iam_Davido a word is enough for the wise…..otoge
