Roman Reigns Makes A Return To Monday Night RAW [Video]

WWE fans were left in disarray when Roman Reigns announced on an episode of Monday Night RAW four months ago that his battle with cancer was taking a hold of him and that he was consequently relishing his Universal Champion belt effective immediately.

iDONSABI.com earlier reported that Roman Reigns was making a return to Monday Night Raw to give an update on his real life battle with cancer and boy was it a good one?

After reeling in the praises and adulation of fans once his music hit, Roman hit the grounds, slapped the hands of WWE fans and celebrities at ringside and smiling to the chants of “Roman! Roman!” and “Welcome back”.

Once he entered the ring, the 33-yr-old announced something that WWE fans have been dying to hear, an announcement that would have got lots of fans glued to their TV set to see that episode of Monday Night RAW.

The wrestler with real name Joe Anoa’I thanked the fans for their prayer and love and after a brief delay announced that his leukemia was officially in remission.

He added that he was shifting focus to raising awareness on cancer and supporting those who are in need just he was.

The announcement would go down as one of the most loved long quotes in WWE’s history.

“I said I was going to swing for the fences. We did better than that, y’all. We didn’t just swing for the fences. We hit a home run. So when I tell you this, I’m so grateful and so humbled and so honoured to announce this, The good news is, I’m in remission y’all.”

The crowd went wild. It was indeed a memorable announcement for fans of the sport entertainment company.
