Ahmed Musa To Sponsor 100 Students Through University

Ahmed Musa has announced his intention to sponsor 100 university students. The Super Eagles marauding forward made this known following his unveiling as an ambassador for Skyline University Nigeria.

The Nigerian attacker was unveiled as the Kano-based university’s ambassador on Wednesday, after captaining the Super Eagles to consecutive victories against Benin and Lesotho in their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games.

The Super Eagles captain has been involved in a number of charitable projects and isn’t one to shy away from humanitarian gestures.

The winger who plays for club side, Al Nassr played a key role in the construction of a sports centre. He is now poised to help willing youths chase their academic goals by honouring them with scholarships in the private university.

Ahmed Musa restated his belief in education and the numerous benefits it presents to youths. He insists that it’s his love for education that propelled him into being a member of the team.

“I am a great believer in the importance of education hence, my excitement in joining this great team to promote this vision of becoming anything you want to be in life as long as you can dream it,” Musa wrote via Instagram.

“So, I am pleased to let you know that I would be sponsoring 100 students at this university. Yes! 100. Details to follow shortly.”

As is expected, hundreds of Nigerians thronged onto his page, thanking him for such grand gesture.

Musa’s Al Nassr who currently sit second-place on the Saudi Professional league standings would be locking horns with Al Wahda in their next league fixture.

Ahmed Musa will be making only his fifth league appearance, even as he looks to record his name on the scoresheet for only the first time this season.

Musa has failed to hit the target on several outings but will be looking to end the goal drought when his side takes on Al Nassr for size.
