Ruling on Friday, the judge ordered INEC to allow the APC and Lyon to participate in the forthcoming election following an ex parte motion filed by counsel for the Bayelsa State governorship candidate on Thursday.

Recall that a recent court order also disqualified the party’s deputy governorship candidate, Biobarakuma Degi, from participating in the forthcoming poll.

Although he had appealed the ruling as well, It is, however, unclear if Regi will be the Deputy Governor if the APC wins.

More to come.
