– Alh. Atiku Abubakar urged Nigerians to move out and vote for the PDP in the 2019 Governorship and State Assembly Election
The 2019 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, in a recent statement, has urged Nigerians to come out and participate in the 2019 Governorship and State Assembly Election.
He also urged Nigerians to vote for the PDP from the top to the bottom.
The former Vice President also used the opportunity to thank Nigerians for the massive votes they gave to him and the PDP in the 2019 Presidential election.
Alh. Atiku Abubakar in a statement via his Twitter handle said, “I express my profound gratitude for the massive votes you gave my party – the PDP, during the Presidential and National elections. As we move to the governorship & state elections on March 9, I urge you to come out in larger numbers to peacefully vote for PDP, from top to bottom.”

Atiku Abubakar lost the 2019 Presidential election to President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress APC, who had over 15 million votes with a clear difference of over four million votes as against Atiku Abubakar, who had over 11 million votes.
Despite the fact that Pres. Muhammadu Buhari has been declared the winner of the Presidential poll by the country’s electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and has received a certificate of return, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and Alh. Atiku Abubakar are still planning to head to court.
In another report, Nigerian electoral body, INEC has disclosed it readiness to carry out 2019 Governorship and State Assembly Election, which is expected to take place on Saturday, the 9th of March.
The Electoral body has disclosed that it is going to make use of a uniform timing during the election.
